January Meeting Reminder

We hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday season and that 2013 will be an excellent year!

Meeting reminder – Saturday January 5th – 10:00 until 1:30 at the Westport Library.

We will be distributing fabric for the Madrona Road Challenge and also sharing samples from The Warm Company.

Kendell will be bringing cutting boards, rulers, rotary cutters, sewing machine, iron, ironing pad, etc. She will demonstrate how to cut straight strips and how to sew a perfect, straight 1/4 inch seam and we will create some great churn dash blocks with all that donated fabric. We will also work on laying out the squares we made early last year and sew them together so they can be quilted.

Please post on Facebook, comment below or send us an email at info@ctmodernquiltguild.com if you are coming!

Hope to see you on Saturday.

April 28th is our NEXT meeting!

Normally we meet on the 1st Saturday of the odd months. Exceptions occur if there are conflicts. This month is one of those exceptions. Members decided to meet the week before, rather than the weekend after so we didn’t have any problems with Mother’s Day.

Please update your schedules and Pencil us in!

Westport Public Library
(Seminar Room)

You can sign up on facebook or leave a comment so we know how many people to expect.
